Cooling system Friedrich

Hi. I'm trying to build an upgrade for my cooling system Friedrich. I have learned original remote in two file. Some command are protocol fujitsu but others not or ???

1. Device: Cooling system Friedrich

3. Year: 2006
4. JP1 Remote model: 9910
5. JP1 user? yes
6. Still have original remote? yes
7. Checked the file section? yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? no
9. Partially working setup code? no
10. Learning remote question? Cannot build an upgrade from what I have actually.

Do all of the learned signals actually work? I suspect that they don't. Most of the signals from the 2nd file are almost exactly the same, which leads me to believe that there's alot more signal being sent by the original remote that your JP1 remote is not able to capture.

If they do work, could you try relearning the following buttons from file 1:

CH+

You were right. The learned command doesn't work. I have tried again and still doesn't work. I have learned it with my Harmony and it work. So, I tried to learn it from my Harmony but the JP1 still doesn't work.

The problem is that the data stream is too long for the JP1 remote to capture all of it. We've seen this before with air conditioners. We would need to have someone with CaptureIR to capture the signals, then we could see if it's feasible to re-create them via a new protocol.

I have an IR receiver for my twinhan satellite card. Can I use it or it doesn't work with captureIR ?

I can't help you there, that's a question for one of the CaptureIR experts.
