How do you get OFA to upgrade a remote?

Rob,
How do you get OFA to upgrade a remote? I just bought a 6131n for my parents and I'd like to get the upgrade so I can program it. I would have bought them an 8910 (like I have) but it's a bit complicated for them.

Sorry, Rob. I ran a search for this topic, but apparently my search-fu is lacking cause I didn't find the thread you directed me to. You're the man!

Looks like I should have come to you for a remote. It's been quite a while since I've been to the site cause things have been running well for me and I wasn't aware you were selling anything! But I'll be picking up one of your USB cables. 8)

Read Rob's page on what he sells carefully. I think Rob sells cables only WITH remotes. There are other JP1 vendors who sell cables alone. (But I haven't read that page on what Rob sells carefully, recently, so don't take my memory of what Rob has said as substitute for reading it yourself).

Okay, thanks. Doesn't matter anyway...I think I've decided to return the 6131n I bought and buy one of the modded models that Rob sells (it will save me a lot of hassle). Plus I might pick up another 8910 for myself. JP1 is just so much fun.
