Problem updating profile

I logged in under my old name of DaleMac to update my profile with my new email address.
I got a message saying that the account had to be reactivated from an email to be sent to me.
The email never came (it's been 24 hours) and now I've had to create a new user so that I can ask this question.
How do I reinstate the old account?

Check your spam folder, many spam filters will sort all automated email into the trash.

At any rate, I just re-activated your account for you.
