JP1 for Sony KV32XBR37
Moderator: Moderators
It is part of the set. I haven't seen it personally yet, but I asked the same question and verified it is integral with the TV. At the very least it came as part of the TV, out of the TV's box, Sony headphones, etc. I don't know if it's physically molded integrally into the case, I believe it is.whompus wrote:When you say setting on top of the set. Are you saying an external device setting on the tv or a transmitter build into the tv on the top?
Do you know what is the model of this tv?
As for model, from previous post:
1. Device: Sony KV32XBR37
Thanks, Scott
Sorry about that, I'll have to call my friend and ask. I thought that was the set itself.....whompus wrote:Thats the model of the remote. I mean the model of the tv itself.
just called, he climbed back behind it and read me the model from the panel. Says Mfgr Date May 95, Model KV32XBR37.
I asked about the Headset thing. It's not something that actually sits on top of the tv. The TV is flat on top. Its an indicator light that comes on and is red in color when the headphones are turned on. The light is in the top area of the set, above the screen. Only way to turn them on is with the remote. So it is definately integral to the set.
Hope that helps, Scott
I bought this same set back in 1996, it was display model from Goodguys. It didn't come with the original remote or headphones. It has bubble sticking out between the top of the Tv and the top of screen. when the headphones are turned on, you can see a dotted line of red lights. Sold set in 1998.

Gladly, here it is:whompus wrote:He said efc. I would think it is 070 on device 164 but you said no. Why don't you save the ir file from the remote and upload it here so we can see what you are working with.
