All,
I am having a problem uploading and downloading to an 8910. The error summed up says that my cable is wrong or the memory exceeds the capacity of the IR application. I have tried a factory reset with no success. Help!!!

Hi!
I don't think your version of the summary gives enough information to solicit help. For instance (just answer what applies):
1. have you used IR sucessfully before? with this remote?
2. what cable you're using - USB, serial, parallel?
3. what interface did you select in IR?
4. did you download RDF files, if yes, what RDF file did you use?
5. If you were trying to add upgrades and protocols to IR, were you watching the memory indicators at the bottom of the window? What did they say? When did the low memory error occur?
6. If you have an .IR file, posting it in Diagnosis area (see the Files button above) might help someone help you.
7. Can you quote with a bit more detail the messages you get?
