URC-9964 Kameleon w/ Base station

Post by Brad900 »

Ok- so I rec'd one of these at a giveaway- <URC-9964 Kameleon w/ Base station> while I like it and it's "cool" an all that I really like buttons MUCH more! The thing that I like about the Kameleon is the little RF/IR extender. Is there any reason why I couldn't buy an URC-8910 and use the "extender" from the Kameleon? It should work shouldn't it?

The base unit would work with a URC-9910 remote but not a URC-8910. While these two remotes look the same, and in almost all respects ARE the same, the URC-8910 doesn't have the RF puck installed, so it doesn't emit an RF signal.

MaskedMan-

I am now seeing that the HT-pro and the 9910 seem to be the same remote, is that correct? I can't seem to find much info on that remote- by the moniker "HT-Pro"...If it is an 9910 I am very interested in the trade.

I think the HT-PRO is a relabeled 9910.

HTPro and 9910 are IDENTICAL except for color/label.

Yes the HT-PRO is little darker in color then the 9910, and has seude back, where the 9910 slippery back.

My HT-PRO was never used day to day, simply to load upgrade codes via the modem. If you're interested in a trade, PM or email me at:
