A little confused. If there are no jp1 remotes that will work with jp1. Why does the radio shack 1994 have buttons labeled for the x10? Does X10 also work with IR? Thanks for clearing this up, Doug

To control X10 using an IR remote, you need an IR543 box. The 15-1994 is labelled for Radio Shack's version of X10, which they called "Plug & Power", as they used to sell their own version of the IR543.
