I have learned from a upc Oem UEI remote on my 15-1994 which i abtained for this kinda purposes and after some initial problems with a out of date DecodeIR.dll it seems they all use the Nokia32 protocol.
However in KM or RM i can only select Nokia quad Confused Crying or Very sad

I have seen some posts, more or less about the same problem and wonder if there is a fix or workaround for this?
I want to make a upgrade for my 7541.
Perhaps i missed a thread?

Beside that problem i e-mailed UEI and they said the setupcode for nearly all UEI remotes for the upc cablebox would be 1582
I have tried that but it won't work on my 15-1994 nor on a 7541
Perhaps it has something to do with EU vs USA models or am i simply misinformed by UEI?

I have a couple of devices that use the Nokia32 Protocol. As yet, both RM and KM do not support Nokia32.

However, someone has written a device upgrade for a Galaxis satellite receiver, which also works with several UK DTT freeview boxes.

UEI have made a setup code 1111, but this only works with newer remotes.

Try this upgrade on your 7541, it works with my Bush DFTA3 on my 7541. http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=1065

Also read the other threads, search 'nokia32'.

With more devices using Nokia32, it would be nice if it could be included in RM and KM.

Forgot to answer Embarassed

I was able to make an upgrade for the upc mediabox from your upgrade for the Digifusion FVRT90 PVR

Thanks.

This workaround is OK, I suppose, but could the right experts finally add Nokia32 to KM and RM support, please? These protocols pop up with ever more frequency in decodes, and always require a manual protocol upgrade or some jury-riggwed workaround.
