I searhed this forum as well as google but didn't find anything on this particular receiver with this remote. All I want to be able to do is control the volume on my receiver with my ReplayTV remote. Out of the box the ReplayTV remote cannot control a receiver.

There are 18 upgrade files for Onkyo receivers in the JP1 file section, and every one that I checked uses the same protocol (NEC1 combo, main device 210, sub devices 108 and 109), so I'm fairly confident that they all pretty much use the same codes for the buttons also. Therefore, you should be able to pick any one of them and have it work most of the functions on your Onkyo.

The Replay 5000 remote just has the Replay code and a whole bunch of TV codes, it doesn't have any other code types. Now, because the TV codes only have 4 buttons, they were able to fit alot of TV codes into this remote. They also converted a bunch of VCR codes for TV/VCR combos into TV codes just for this remote.
