Cheers Rob! I just got a WMA11B from tigerdirect.com for $29.99. Be aware that the drivers for the PC don't like Windows SP2 - and check the linksys website for their SP2 upgrade. You may also have to play with the windows firewall too - this was frustrating to set-up, to say the least! At least the JP1 part looks like it's going to be easier, thanks to Rob's upgrade.

Yep - it was a LOT easier - the RM idiot's guide is excellent too! (it's just been tested by one)

FYI, anyone who has a WMA-11b and wants some firmware that has more functions than the stock Linksys version should check out the mytinker yahoo group.

The version I'm using now supports Internet Radio, and also integrates with the SlimServer software .... if you can cope with JP1 stuff, the upgrade is something you can handle with ease.

Cheers

Here's the URL:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mytinker/

Here's it's description:
This group facilitates sharing software for
home entertainment devices and the like, e.g.
Linksys NSLU2 and WMA11b, and Netgear's WGT634U.

It is my modest way of paying a little back to the Internet
community for all the joy and knowledge it gives me.

The specific version I am using is in the Yahoo "mytinker" group's Files section, listed as s3s-2.tar.gz

The URL for Slimserver is:
http://www.slimdevices.com/su_downloads.html
and you need to have it installed and running in order to use the new image.

If anyone tries it and has problems, post to the yahoo "mytinker" group and someone will help you out.
Cheers, Mark
