Direct Tv DVR80

Also recently purchased a sling box and have been directed by Sling Media to seek help form other sources the unit is manufactured for RCA by Thomson it is a Direct TV/ tivo DVR model number DVR80 and I have yet to find a code that works with this unit. I can get the remote to open my neighbors' bathroom windows but not control any TV functions. Is there a code out there or an I forced to watch my neighbor for entertainment???the JP1 rm Ir stuff seems interesting but there must be a better way...

OK, so you came to the JP1 forum to tell us that JP1 is a waste of time?
