It appears that NEC projectors use the NEC1 protocol with either a device code of 24.233 or 24.247, and the JP1 file for XG models such as yours uses 24.247

The UEI setup codes that match 24.247 are:
TV/0251
TV/0497

The UEI setup code that match 24.233 is:
TV/0603

However, I doubt that any of these are in the URC-8040
