Hello,
Has anyone figured out the codes in the remote for the Xact XTR1?
The battery holder on the remote broke and the thing is a pain to use without the remote. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Just learned in all the keys
Hello,
If anyone is interested, I just learned in all the necessary keys from my Xact XTR1 remote (a piece of crap) into my RCU810 JP1 remote.
I then uploaded the memory of my remote to IR.exe and then saved the file. I have no idea about how to attach that file to this post. If someone can clue me in on that, I'd be happy to upload my "memory dump."

You don't. If you want us to look at a file, you need to upload it to the Diagnosis Area (in the File Section, link at the top of this page) and then post a link to the file here (or nobody will look at it).acura714 wrote:I have no idea about how to attach that file to this post.
You should also explain what the problem with the learned signals is. If the signals decode quite cleanly, please explain what problems you encountered trying to build the upgrade.
The more info that you give us, the better that we can help you, and starting off not using the mandatory template wasn't a very good start.

Quick and dirty
Sorry Rob. I know I'm bad. I'm just pinched for time and wanted to get the info out on the ether. I haven't seen anybody else discuss the Xact on this board, so I figured I would start up the discussion. I'll try to conform to the template and upload when I have more time.

Even someone strapped for time should be able to take 5 seconds or so to load a file to the file section. But regardless, there's no way that one of us can build the upgrade for you without first getting our hands on the learned signals. So, until you find a spare 5 seconds or so to upload the file, we won't be able to find a spare 10 minutes or so to create the upgrade for you.
