Shift Button on the 2117?

Post by shadowhawk2020 »

I have searched through here briefly, and couldn't find a definitive answer, is the P button the shift Key for the 2117? I have no way to test because I am trying to load a remote for a relative. He has a DVD/receiver combo and a lot of buttons to add and the shift function would really help :)

Thanks for the help.

BTW I am using RM and IR if that helps.

Yes. Keep in mind that to use shifted numeric buttons (0-9), the P key needs to be pressed twice (i.e. P, P, #) to send the shifted function.
