Help with Panasonic2 protocol and AE700 projector

Post by e34m5 »

Been away so long I can't remember how to do things.

Tried to build an upgrade for this projector. I think my problem is in the protocol. I started with the AE100 upgrade Rob had made and tried using it with some new KeyMoves I added.

However the decode from the remote into IR says that the protocol is Panasonic2. I am not sure how to get to Panasonic2 in KM when building a new upgrade.

I feel so inadequate

I think what you want is "Panasonic2 (LCD)" (pid: 0109), which was added in KM v8.31.

Ahh, I am way behind on KM as well. I'll try that.

Try changing the protocol to "Panasonic2 (LCD)" (and remove the device settings that are left over in the OEM Code1 field).

May I chip in? Try this. It's for a fancy commercial thing, but a quick peek tells me there are similarities though is short on functions.

Edited: There are 2 kinds of Panasonic2. AE100 manual protocol resembles Panasonic2(hacked). My upgrade is Panasonic2(official). One of them should work.

Elizabeth....KM says that your file is not a valid KM file.

Got it working. I had made a dumb move both in KM and IR. At any rate I have uploaded the upgrade.

It only has a few functions as I haven't had time to map them all at this time.

I just downloaded my file directly from the file section. KM is not objecting in any way.

However, something about this link is bad, yet it looks identical to what it should be. When I clicked on the link, the screen said:
Warning: module(./pafiledb/modules/pa_.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/users/web/b729/ipw.hifi-rem/public_html/forums/pafiledb/includes/functions_pafiledb.php on line 45

This is one looooooong strange link
