Clue-less newbie Q (again) :P
I noticed that there were notes left on the Yahoo site when new files were added. Is it expected for the hifi-remote files section?
After all, as a newbie contributor, I'm rather pleased with myself for doing all that research and riding on the shoulders of _everyone_ else to accomplish creating a couple of < 3kb files. ;)
Thanks to everyone, from the ones with all the right answers to those with all the right questions.
Files added:
Hughes TIVO SD-DVR40.rmdu in PVR/TIVO
Samsung txn2075whf.rmdu in TV
New RM files for Samsung TXN3075 & Hughes TIVO

There is no need to announce new device upgrade files.
However, it is common courtesy to post links to any files that you mention in a post, rather than just their names and the names of the folders they are in.

Thanks for the info Greg (and for RM & the How-to for it). I made the assumption that since the files were here on hifi, most people could find them quickly enough without the link. It's gonna take a while for me to get the hang of how high-tech / lowest common denominator I need to be for quick communication around here.
