I think I've broken my remote! (OH No, I didn't!) :-)

I've been testing some of my work with ir.exe and RM... I successfully managed to get my URC-7562-B00 to work with my Samsung cable box... but the last set of codes I uploaded seem to have botched things up.

Now, none of the keys work - the device keys no longer light up, MAGIC doesn't work - I'm lost.

I tried new batteries, thinking maybe that the cable might have flattenned them or maybe that they were due for replacement anyway - still nothing. But - when I replace the batteries, the TV button flashes twice.

Is the remote goosed or is there anything I can do to ressurect it?

Just try uploading your original file and see what happens. You may have to do a manufacturers reset to get it back in order.

I er... lost the original file I'd saved.

But all is not lost... I had the idea of uploading all 0's to the remote - it's now working again (phew!)
