Radio Shack 15-2133 remote

Post by stephenw4 »

Good afternoon folks, I'm a very new user to this world of JP1 forum, I'm wondering since I stumbles across auctions on eBay for JP1 cables for many remotes that have JP1 port, I have a few questions for all of you.....

Will I able to use software and JP1 cable with Radio Shack 15-2133 remote that have JP1 port in it that have 6 holes and the kit comes with 6 pins connector that should fit nicely in the remote?

Does the software able to handle advanced programming such as selecting protocol, device codes, and command codes and assign to each button ?

Is it possible to write a database that will control Motorola HDT100 over the air digital TV tuner?

Thank you very much and I appreciate your feedback before I make decision to buy such remote as well as JP1 cable kit from eBay.

 Hey! I succed in getting it work nicely with my Motorola HDT100 over the air DTV tuner, I had to download a version of upgrade and added closed captions since I'm hearing impaired myself so I needed the captions feature so I am very pleased with JP1 software + cable so I uploaded the modified file into the remote and tried VOLA! it works great! I credit everybody who works very hard in developing Remote Master and whose that wrote the update file :) I'm learning about how the data is displayed in RM software so I can understand how it works :)

Again, thanks alot for all folks out there!
