How did you get the DVD/1061 code? According to my records that code is only built into the 15-2142 remote. If you got it as a UEI download, you should post your IR file so we can see the code.

If we can see the file, we can advise you how you can convert it into a KM/RM style upgrade. Then you could try all the missing OBCs to find the remaining functions.

It uses the NEC1 protocol, device 1.

You could create an upgrade in KM and RM puting that protocol and device (no subdevice) on the setup sheet.

In IR.EXE's devices tab (after selecting DVD/1061) you can see which EFC number is assigned to which button and you can copy the EFC numbers to KM or RM for whichever functions work (correcting the function names on any that did the wrong thing).

But functions that are missing from this list of EFC numbers are harder.

The only method we're sure would work is to try all the rest. But first look at the OBC numbers once you've copied the working EFC numbers to KM or RM. The working OBC numbers tend to cluster together, so rather than trying all 256 EFC numbers you can use KM or RM to translate OBC to EFC for the OBC numbers that are near the working ones but not included.

I have a big library of downloaded CCF files, including several DVD's that are NEC1:1. But none that is a good match for DVD/1061. If you tell me a few of the EFC numbers that work and a few that don't, I may be able to match it to data I have. Better yet, do that first step of copying the working EFC numbers to an upgrade with corrected function names, then post that in the diagnosis folder. That would let me (or other experts) easily compare to any other info we have on NEC1:1.
