I just recently changed the battery in our 15-2116 and was dissapointed to find the extender/macros/moves were wiped out.
Did I have a failure or is that normal? Do you have to reburn the eprom on every battery change???

The extender needs to be activated after ANY reset of the remote, such as when changing batteries. The rest of the settings should be ok...

"Activated" meaning that I could have just pushed the Power button? Or meaning I have to reload the extender from the JP1 interface?

That's it. I think it's documented in the readme as well.
