I would look in the files and start with the AVR500 and see how close it is. They don't always use the same commands in all models but that is a start. You could also try any of the HK files. IIRC, there are one or two that use the device combiner and I would avoid those at least for the time being. Most should use the HK(or NEC) combo protocol since they use two different device/sub-device combinations. I did find a pcf file in my archives for an HK AVR630, if that is a similar model, but it is tedious to decode since it is not readable by any of our present tools.

shree,

Give This H/K AVR8000 file of mine a try. Harmon Kardon is pretty consistant at using the same codes across their receiver line. I added this file once before but it seems to have disappeared.

Just FYI, shree is not a JP1 user, so upgrade files won't be much use to him/her.

shree,

I'm sorry, I misunderstood. I'm not exactly sure what you want to do if your not using JP1 tools though unless your just looking for the setup code used in the RS 15-2116 remote to operate your AVR430 and the button associations. That I'm sorry I can't answer. I do have the pronto .ccf file for the Harmon Kardon AVR8000 which should use the exact same codes as the AVR430 if you can use it. You can download from Here
