Actually, scratch that. I just looked it up and the URC-8811 has the 2-byte version of the Tivo protocol installed, so here are your options...
1) Use "Tivo Official"
Pros: you won't need a protocol upgrade
Cons: the device upgrade will be twice the size of option 2
2) Use "Tivo Advanced"
Pros: the device upgrade will be half the size of option 1
Cons: you will need a protocol upgrade
You can experiment to see which option uses less space overall. If you don't assign very many buttons, option 1 will be better, but if you assign a regular amount of buttons, option 2 will almost certainly be better. _________________ Rob
