6012 extender

Post by johngbauer »

I have a 6012w from walmart. I have added an 8k eeprom, jp1 and jumper2.
I want to use it with the latest extender.
I have tried several of the files but never get a combination that gives me 4 blinks after I upload to the remote and press the power key.
I'm not sure that I am using the right files (I have tried most of them) and searched the forums for advice. There is mention made of the "setup area address" and I can't find that or where to find it.
Any help would be gretly appreciated.

You need to use big6012eeprom.zip to find that address. Be sure to read the ReadMe.htm file that's included in the zip.
