Code for Zenith rotator ZENRTR1

Post by gabe »

I'm looking for a code for this Zenith antenna rotator. I searched the forum and found nothing so far. I'm hoping someone has this somewhere.

That's a pretty obscure sounding item.
If it isn't already in the Yahoo or RC file collection, odds are no one else who has one is reading this, so you won't get a positive response here (nor anywhere else I can think of).

Since you have the original remote and a JP1 learning remote and JP1, you don't need that positive response. You could have been done with building the upgrade yourself (based on decoded learned signals) faster than waiting for a reply.

If the learned signals don't decode (fairly likely for a type of device we haven't seen before) post a .ir file containing a few learned signals to the diagnosis folder and post its URL back here and someone will help.

The URC-9910 is a learning remote and you have the original remote, plus you are a JP1 user, which means you have everything that you need to create an upgrade for this device yourself.

If you're not familiar with the process, read this...
http://www.hifi-remote.com/jp1/help/

If you learn the signals and they don't not show any protocol information, post a copy of the IR file in the Diagnosis Area, then post a link to it here so one of us can take a look at it.

Thanks guys I will work with the original to make an upgrade if I can, if all works out well I'll add it to the file list. I use this to turn my antenna for over the air HDTV.
