Yamaha RX-V750 Rec'vr with URC991 - ON/OFF

Post by dg768 »

I have the above AV receiver that has discrete power on and standby buttons on its own remote but has a single power on/standby button on the device itself. I am able to program the power on and standby functions onto different keys on my URC991, but I would like to use a toggle type of power on/standby. Is this possible?

The Yamaha website
http://www.yamaha.com/yec/customer/code ... 50,750.pdf

lists Standard IR Codes for System Power Toggle as 7A1F, whatever that means. What are these codes, with reference to programming an OFA remote? There are similar Extended IR codes at http://www.yamaha.com/yec/customer/code ... 50,750.pdf

Any help appreciated. Thanks

Have you tried any of the Yamaha Audio device upgrades? I'd bet you don't need an exact model match. It looks to me like EFC 250 is the power toggle.
