Newbie / DirectV D10 to RS1994 upgrade help

I have a Directv D10 receiver and have used a RS1994 to learn as many functions as I have memory for. I would like to turn this into an upgrade but cannot find or either do not understand the protocol. I also downloaded a ccf file and decoded it as well but the protocol is still confusing me. I am not sure where to post my files for help. By the way I have done all the searches and read all the docs but am still stumped.
