Anyone has JP1 update code for Dvico FusionHDTV remote?

I have a Dvico FusionHDTV III Gold PCI card with USB remote(InfraRed), anybody has the JP1 update code for it so I can use one-for-all remote to control?

The next logical step for you is to learn some/all of the signals from the original remote and see how IR decodes them. Then you can build your own upgrade using KM or RM.

The relevent point is that you have a learning remote and a JP1 cable and the original remote. So you can learn the signals, download those to IR.EXE, decode them and use the result to make your own upgrade.

I won't fault you for asking if someone already did the task for you. But if you can't find it in the Yahoo file section or the RC Pronto files, you're probably not going to have someone read this thread who knows about it.

If you have trouble with any of the steps of making your own upgrade, please be specific about the problem and I'm sure you'll get help here quickly.

Problem is:

Although using IR515.exe I can add macros/keymovers, but if I use the URC-8810 itself to add macros/learning keys, I failed(I have quite some macros/keymovers already, at a step URC8810 supposely should give me two short red blink, it gave me a long red blink, I have to delete something to make it work).

NO. IR can only read the learned signals from a remote.

Since you have IR, download the current configuration from your remote and save the file. Then you can reset the remote (using the 9-8-1 command), learn the signals you need, and view them in IR to get the details for building your new upgrade. Then you can add that upgrade to your saved configuration file, and upload everything back to the remote.

Macros and KeyMoves share the same memory area, but learned signals are in a different area. So even if the Macro and KeyMove area is full you may still have plenty of room for learned signals.

If the learned signal area is also full you can:

1) Backup the eeprom image you're using to a file on your PC using IR.EXE (you should do that anyway, as soon as you get your JP1 cable and after every change to your configuration that you want to keep. Backups are easy and often valuable).

2) Use either IR.EXE or a 981 reset to clear out all the learned signals in the remote.

3) Learn more signals.

4) Download to IR.EXE, save in a (different) file and decode.

5) Open the Backup of the config you were using, make any edits you want (based on the above decodes) and upload back to the remote.

Ah, just used the original remote to decode all those IR signals and made a KeyMaster file, it's easy. Next step for me is to try the Extender.
