I just got a 9910, and am trying to set it up with the extender. I've been using an 8811 for a while, and so I thought I knew what I was doing!
I get an error when trying to upload to the remote that the signature doesn't match. I did go ahead and try to upload anyway, but even though the remote says "success" and the extender will start, macros don't seem to be working and so there is some kind of a problem....
This is probably some kind of obvious mistake, but after a few hours of messing around I'm getting frustrated.... I've done a hard reset and am back to the beginning. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: 9910 extender problem
That's normal when loading the extender for the first time since it uses a different signature than the default.Zyll wrote:I get an error when trying to upload to the remote that the signature doesn't match.
The easiest thing to do is upload a copy of the extender configuration to the diagnosis area and post a link to it here (be sure to read the message regarding links to Yahoo files). One of the extender experts can then look at it to see if there's anything obvious. This is probably some kind of obvious mistake, but after a few hours of messing around I'm getting frustrated....
