Not sure if this is practical, but I would like to program an 8811 for my Dad and send it to him for his birthday. I have the model numbers for his equipment, but I don't know the specific codes. If anyone could help, it would be appreciated!
TV = Memorex MT2272
VCR = Symphonic VR-60WF
DVD = Sanyo DWM-380
Looking for codes so I can give remote to Dad as a gift!

That's a hard one. The OFA online code list for the 8811 lists eight different setup codes for Memorex TV's. The JP1 TV folder has one upgrade (Memorex_MT2245_TV.txt) and it isn't similar to any of those eight setup codes.fiveolddogs wrote: TV = Memorex MT2272
Given the similarity of model number, the JP1 upgrade might be a better bet than one of the other eight choices. But your chances don't seen that good with at least nine choices (not counting all the ones we don't know about).
I haven't checked, but I wouldn't be surprised if those other two devices are even harder.

While admirable, experience has shown us that what you are trying to do is impractical. What you should do is go round to your dad's place and learn the signals from his remotes, then create upgrades and test them. You could also program him some nice macros and test them.
If you want to keep it all a secret so you can give him a programmed remote on his birthday, and it's not practical to do all this without him watching you, I would suggest that you just give him the un-programmed remote and just promise to program it for him afterwards.
Just FYI, there are upgrades for all three brands that you mention in the file section, plus there are almost certainly built in codes to work these devices too.
