Double key press needed after upgrade

Howdy;

I was fooling around with the Echostar 1775 upgrade and something odd happened. The buttons pretty much worked as advertised in the 1775 file, though I needed to press each button twice to get and release the functions. So to get the Menu I need to press menu twice, and so on...

Why might this be?

Seems that the built in 0775 code as set in my Maestro II doesn't work welll on echostar receivers (301-2700 and the like, power on/off and some numeric keys only) so I wanted to try the 1775 file from yahoo. The protocol upgrade was required by the 1775, and I think I applied it correctly, since it showed up in the Protocol tab. Is the protocol upgrade now available to the default 0775 config and is this what will cure the ails of my default 0775, or do I need to upload a new 0775 config? Or twiddle the protocol to make it available?

I did a search of the forums: "making protocol available". Didn't see the answer I was looking for, so I'm still off beam.

You probably need to give a bit more detail about the upgrade you are trying e.g. You say this was downloaded from Yahoo so a link to what you downloaded would be useful. (Otherwise people have to go and search).

Similarly uploading you IR file to the Diagnoisis area and linking to that may help get a quicker response since it'll be easier to see what you've done.
