8910 - toggle backlight

I'd like to change the behavior of the backlight so that it always goes on when any key is pressed; the backlight key would only be used to turn it off prior to the timer expiring. (I've set the backlighting to be on for a generously-long 25 seconds. I love not having to race the timer to find the right key!)

A search revealed the functions "LightToggle", "LightOn", and "LightOff"; this sounds like what I need.

Does the 8910 have this functionality, or is there another way to accomplish it?
