Newbie needs to upgrade URC-9910 (9911) with Kiss DVD code

Post by lifeisfun »

Please help newbie to get URC-9910 to work with KiSS DP-500 (508)
I found this post in this forum:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewt ... light=kiss
But I have no idea how to implement this in real life
Can I somehow use the built in modem ... ?

Thanks!

Q1. Are you a JP1 user?
Q2. Do you still have the original Kiss remote?

If you've answered yes to both of these questions, check out the links in my sig.

If you're not a JP1 user, while you can use the built in "modem", you would be much better advised to make a further investment of $14 in your remote and get yourself a JP1 cable.

The cables are available worldwide over the internet, from
http://www.hovisdirect.com and http://jp1.filebug.com

We'll help, just as long as you do some reading on your own first. (see my sig)
