6131-JP1 / Program for S-Video

Post by SBI »

Not sure this is the correct place, but...is there a way to program a Master-On so that it will switch the TV on in the S-Video mode, as oppose to a "standard" channel?

Thank you.

You can create a macro on the button of your choice with the buttons that you would normally press to make it happen within the macro.

ex. TV; Power; SVideo.

Where Svideo is the buttons that you would press to get to Svideo mode.

I have a Macro programmed already, but when the TV is turned Off and then On again it always starts (for this matter) in Channel 3 (which is where the dish is tuned)...even if I turn it Off while in the S-video.

So what you need to do is add the buttons to switch it to Svideo after it is powered up. If the commands are already in the macro and not working the TV is probably not yet ready for commands so you may need to put a delay/pause between the power on and the Svideo commands.
