I have been using the URC-7800 (cinema 7) extender 2 for a few months now and love it. I originally did this so I could put macros on the device keys, soas to switch my TV to the correct input first.
I thought that I had read somewhere that macros could be larger than 15 commands, but whenever, in IR, I try to add more than 15 commands, I get an error message back saying I can't excede 15. Is this the case, or am I missing something somewhere.
Thanks,
Mike |

You can not exceed the 15 steps in a single macro in IR but with the extender you can nest macros so in fact you can have one macro that calls others which in effect overrides the 15 limit.
You may want to verify in the documentation for the extender that it does support nested macros but I believe it does. _________________ Nils

I think that extender supports concatenated macros, not nested. That still will let you get beyond 15 commands: Invoke the second macro as the last step of the first. |
