JVC DRM10S DVD Recorder

I just bought the device and wanted to see if any JP1 user has already created a device upgrade for it. It doesn't repsond to the same codes as my JVC 723 DVD player. If someone hasn't already done I'll probably do it myself some time next week. Thanks.

Jay,

Did you try EFC's 247 and 248 for Power On and Power Off? JVC devices that use OBC 11 for power usually use those, if anything, for discrete power commands.

If that doesn't work will it turn On from Off with thePlay command?

EFC 247 and 248 do not work for power on/off. Also play does not turn the unit on like it does with some dvd players.
