Didn't have much luck with the existing codes on my DVD-F85. I'm picking through the create-a-new section of the tutorial, but not a lot of luck yet.I
I haven't seen any Sony PNP XM satellite radio codes. my RS 2116 seems to have a funky time learning codes from the original remote as well.
Thanks for any and all help. If I need to post files or codes to help with this please let me know. I don't mean to leech off other's hard work, I'm certainly interested in learning how to build these upgrades on my own.

OK, first things first, does the learning function of your 15-2116 actually work? If it's problematic, let's try and figure out why and (if possible) fix it.
Assuming that it does work, all you need to do is learn the signals in question, download using IR, and see what the signal info is (ie, protocol, device code, command code, etc). If you can get to that stage, my tutorial at jp1/help should guide you through the rest of the steps. If you can't figure out the rest of the steps, post your IR files and we'll help.

greenzee,
I use a Panasonic DVD-CP72 5 disc changer. It should use the same codes as your DVD-F85. Here's a link, RightClick and Save As for the file I used. It can be opened in KM or RM.
