I just started playing with IR 5.06 and have some suggestions.
I noticed that whenever you save a file it automatically saves both an *.IR copy and a *.txt copy. Would it be possible to make this a user selection instead? In other words, if the user selects "Save As" they should be able to select either *.IR or *.txt as the file type. I think it's a great feature for the new IR to have the ability to save files in the old format (and this greatly reduces the need for anyone to use the old 4.02 version) but people only need files in the old format in limited circumstances, so it seems a shame to clutter up everybody's HDs with the txt files if they don't need them.
I also noticed that if you select "Convert file to WAV" it asks you to open the *.txt version of the current file first. Would it be possible when the user selects this option to have IR automatically save a .txt file and use it, without needing to prompt the user?
