I have read through this thead, and, I apologize, "this cannot happen". Your original file loads, decodes, and converts fine for me (v3.2.14). If you think you have a bug. upload your rmaster.err, together with a detailed explanation of what happens.
I agree this shouldnt happen and keep thinking its something simple I am missing. Even without the learns I should have been able to get something working from one of the upgrades in the file section. Anyway if we cant figure it out at least I can use one of the OEM codes in its limiting way.

Do you have an OEM setup code that works at least some functions of your device? If so, what is it?

There are three 1360 setup codes:

TV/1360 = NEC2 0.253
Video/1360 = NEC1 0
Audio/1360 = Denon Combo 2,8,12

So, I guess you are using Audio/1360. The thing is, this one is a combo of Denon signals, rather than Denon-K.

Here's an upgrade that uses the Denon Combo:

Does this message indicate anything to do with the issue or does this not matter? When I select to create an upgrade from the learned signals, does this message matter or not?
''There is more than one executor that is compatible both with your remote and with the learned signals that you have selected. The compatible ones are listed below. A* after the PID means that the executor is not built in to the remote, so a new device upgrade will include a protocol upgrade.
Please choose an executor from the list and press Convert, or press Cancel to cancel the conversion.
Denon-K (00CD*)
Denon/Denon-K Combo (01C8)
Denon/Sharp/Denon-K Combo (01AC)''

I selected convert and tried them all to no avail but wonder if the protocol could be the reason for the failure of any upgrade to work.

Ignore my last message, I have made a breakthrough by selecting the first option and trying again and will finish my upgrade tomorrow.
