What do you do if the remote has no device keys, such as the URC-1210?

Um, just control one device? Is this a trick question?

I was referring to something like this:

Copy one key to another 994

1. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice, then RELEASE.
2. TAP 9 - 9 - 4.
3. TAP the "from" DEVICE button (eg, TV)
4. TAP the "from" regular button (eg, VOL+)
5. TAP the "to" DEVICE button (eg, VCR)
6. TAP the "to" regular button (eg, VOL+) - two Blinks

I guess that a for copy to the same device you just miss out steps 3 and 5, yes?

That step in the instructions is meant to ensure that your multi-device remote is in the right device mode before you program the keymove, etc.

On a single-device remote, that step is not necessary.
