Re: Web site issues

Today, for the first time ever, I made it through all of the file section screens without getting any errors, so we are closer, but there's still more work to do. Now, I need to revive the old forum offline on a computer, so I can remind myself how the old screens worked and make sure the new ones work in a similar fashion.

Hi Rob, I am so glad to have this forum back. I have worked hard to be self-sufficient, but really find that I still need the support that this forum gives.

I was wondering about the timeout limit. It usually takes me a long time to craft a post to get my meaning across. It seems that when try to post a more complicated question, when I hit SUBMIT I am taken back to the login screen.
Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Hey Vicky, and I'm glad to have you back too, we've missed you. As for a posting time limit, I don't have that feature turned on, so the best I can guess is that you're exceeding the time limit for the session itself. Just how long are we talking about here, a couple of minutes or a couple of hours? Sessions currently are good for 1 hour.
