Hi Allen,
I will help you, and also tell you how to do it, in case it helps you or others do it yourselves in the future.

So, the starting point is the bin file that Alan created for the Chunghwa MOD303 here:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=11592

If you search our file section, you'll see that he also posted an RM file for it here:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=11601

You can download that RM file and open it using RM. I was expecting it to be using a non-repeating version of an executor, but I see that this file uses the regular NEC1 executor, so I assume this is what Alan used to create the original bin file and he probably forgot to upload the modified RMDU file.

Ok, so that means, all I have to do is generate a new bin file using this RMDU file and you should be good to go. Here's how you generate a bin file.
1. First, make sure you have your version of Slingbox selected as your "remote" and make sure the buttons are all assigned as you want them.
2. Go to Advanced > Export Binary Upgrade

I have done that here:

Alan, I'm just glad I'm still able to reach out to you after all these years and have a chance to say thank you for your generosity in helping me and others get their bin files over the years. You, Rob and others have made it so much easier for us to enjoy countless hours of remote TV watching. You're a first class gentleman. I wish you much happiness and good health.

Rob, the new bin file is working perfectly now. Thank you for jumping in and saving the day.

I spent the last couple days browsing this forum, trying to get a feel on the Bin creation process. It's definitely doable, especially with the amount of resources and helpful people on here (not sure how many are still active?). I can see myself picking up this skill as it can be helpful for as long as I keep using Slingbox.

I have a question if you don't mind. I seem to have trouble even opening the RM program? I downloaded the RM package and none of the files inside resemble a typical Windows application that I'm used to opening? Please see screenshot. If you could give a quick pointer as to which one to open, I'd really appreciate it.

Lastly, would you recommend the remote in the link as my learning remote?

Thank you both again. Please PM me if you take any PayPal donations, I'd love to buy you and Alan a beer or coffee as a small token of appreciation.

Cheers! :D

Thanks for the kind comments but this time it was all down to Rob. Although I found my long lost memories began to resurface when Rob explained the process,

No need for a donation, I had a great deal of satisfaction just helping people. But if you are ever in Lincolnshire, UK.... :-)

The download includes a Readme file, so you could start with that, but to summarize, there is a file called setup.vbs which completes the install and creates shortcuts for RM (which it calls RMDU), RMIR and RMPB.

I live on the far side across the pond, Los Angeles. I've never been in UK, would love to visit Lincolnshire one day. I'll check in on you when I do.

Ah, of course  I'll figure it out eventually. I'll come back for any more questions. Also, thank you for running this site and being so helpful. Take care and see you next time, Rob.
