seville classics tower fan learned with urc-7880

Post by Buzywoman »

hello I have purchased a new tower fan from Costco

brand: Seville Classics

I have learned with urc-7880 because not able learn with ir widget and not able with urc-10820

if convert my learned signal to device upgrade in rmir I need to leave learned signal because with only upgrade device code not work all only 2 button work.

if open rmdu for made a new device upgrade code in f12 protocol doesn't have sub device only device

my device learned is f12, device 3 and subdevice 1

need this upgrade for urc-7880 and urc-10820

I know this post is ages old, but I just noticed that it never got answered.

When you select the F12 protocol in RM, it gives the following notice:
DecodeIR reports a subdevice value of 0 or 1. The F12 executor is able to compute the "subdevice" value from the 2 least significant bits of the OBC, so entering the subdevice is not needed or allowed here. See DecodeIR for details.
So, the sub-device is a non-issue.

Buzywoman's RMIR file includes an upgrade for the fan that she never loaded into the file section, so I have added it here:
