Hi,
BLUF: I'm getting "Unknown Remote - No RDF matches signature starting 3059" when selecting 'Download from Remote". How do I read the info from my remote?
I've read the help files that come with RMIR, many of the JP1 wiki pages, have searched the wiki and the forum - but am stuck!
I have installed RMIR v3.2.0 (appears to the be latest) on Windows 11. I have plugged in my remote using a FTDI cable and it appears in Device Manager on Com port 3.
The remote is URC1673-00R01, Foxtel, and the JP1 port says JP1.3.
When I run Download from Remote in RMIR, I get "Unknown Remote - No RDF matches signature starting 3059".
I have searched the RDF pages that it links to and not found anything that sounds like it is the right RDF.
I've selected Raw Download and it appears to successfully download the data as hex, and I've saved the raw data as 3059.ir. I've tried opening the raw data file and get the error message "Unknown Remote - no remote found with the signature starting 3059 and EEPROM size 7k".
How do I read the info from the remote into RMIR? Am I using the wrong program? Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,
Mike

The 3059 signature indicates that this is a new remote for us, so somebody will need to create a new RDF for this remote.
