|

Most posts I have found on this site as far back as 2012 indicate that there is no extender for a remote with JP1.4 Interface due to the (new?) way it stores its data internally? Is that still correct?
I now have a new Inteset INT-422-4 remote (six pin JP1) which announces itself as having a JP1.4 Interface on the Raw Data tab of RMIR. I am hoping to use Long-Press and other features supposedly only accessible with an extender. Has there been any update on this issue in the past decade? |

I thought about bumping this old thread to see if there are current developments of device extenders with JP1.4.
My remote, is a OFA URC3661 with six pins which, also, announces itself as having a JP1.4.
Any hope to install a device extender? |

Unfortunately no. It is still true that the internal data structure for these remotes makes extenders impossible. _________________ Graham |
