1994 Extender5 DKP

Post by Mongoloid »

Greets all, though I'm a not beginner with JP1.. I am a beginner when it
comes to extenders. The problem I'm having is with the 1994 Extender
5, I am trying to set up a Double Key Press to shift between two
devices in IR 5.03. Whenever I put the buttons in, and then go out and
back in to that screen all but the 1st 2 buttons from the left (Single press)
column have moved over to the top of right (Double press) column. Any
one have any ideas??

Thanks.

That sounds like a problem with IR's DKP logic. I think Paul has said he'll be gone for the weekend, so this may not get any attention until next week.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Update: I have just tried the LKP instead of the
DKP. It does not appear to work correctly either (at least for me :) ).
While the IR screens are correct, the remote does not appear to
respond to the LKP and stays in the short key press configuration
(which seems to be working).

I just tried this on both an 8811 and 2104 extender file and got the same results. Everything after the first 2 buttons on the left side move over to the top of the right side (in both LKP and DKP).

Thanks for double checking it for me! It's nice to know it
wasn't just me. :D
