Newbie with Nevo C3: all tabs empty after "download&

Since EZ-RC has closed down, JP1 is your only option to get these remotes upgrades. We will (eventually) support all remotes formerly supported by EZ-RC, including the Moster Revolution 200.

Newbie with Nevo C3: all tabs empty after "download&

Post by ThunderOwl »

Hello All! Just got Nevo C3 today, found out about JP1 today, and installed Java RMIR today :)
I think I have set registry changes as needed, RMIR says right on top bar "Nevo C3". But, when I press "download", progressbar is active, but after that - all tabs of RMIR are empty. Please, what did I miss, what I didn't do, or did wrong? Thank You! :-)

FIXED - please see my last post in this thread. "Factory Reset" helped. ;-)

There may be some clues in your rmaster.err file. But my initial guess is you have RMIR in a folder that is lacking write permissions. So move it to Documents or Downloads or something like that.

Thank You for answering! Folder is under My Documents, it is fine, thanks for the tip about logfile! I will show the end of it, looks like there is something weird going on when getting devices.xcf, hmm:
(P.S.: I did try to "Reset" remote)

Looks like issues with some device names. Can you change or delete the first few up to DirecTV on the remote itself and try again?

EDIT - I did now FACTORY RESET (Press "Reset", then type "981", then press "Factory Reset"), not the "usual reset", and now download from my remote happens normally! That's nice progress here ;-)
Have to say - good first impression from Community here, thank You guys!

Glad you got it working. If you need any icons, check out this thread. I've made some recent updates.
