It's imperative that Firewall rules are put in place on the WAN of Router to block (drop) all outgoing traffic on all ports/protocols from the LAN IP the box is on to anywhere, and another one for incoming from anywhere to the LAN IP box. And that for remote streaming rules are created for specific IP/IPs (incoming and outgoing) that you wish to allow to remote stream or view. It might seem drastic but Sling are crippling boxes, and factory resets aren't working in a way that allows firmware to be updated again.
Any setup via SP 1.5, if the box isn't already crippled, AND such firewall blocks are not in place or setup would require the internet to be disconnected. And the internet not connected until such blocks are in place.
