Hi to all
It's my first post here ,so please excuse my poor English ,it's not my native language.
Recently I've bought an old ipod stereo dock ,and I didn't find a lot of information about it.
I have an OFA-URC7140 (if need it also an URC-7980) and I've automatically scanned the codes but it works only for power on and off ,nothing else.
The manual is located here https://www.manualslib.com/products/San ... 41290.html it shows the remote with much more functions ,including bluetooth ,volume etc
I know that Sandstrom it's a Curry's brand ,but this model looks like it's sold only in Nordic countries ,not UK.
Maybe a kind soul can help me with instructions what to do for having full functions of the original remote.
Thanks a lot!
Best Regards!

The version of DVD/1894 that is in the 326605 version of the URC-7140 uses NEC1 dev 0. There are plenty of other setup codes in the 7140 that use the same codeset (see below), so any one of these might be a better match. You could also try building dummy upgrades with all the OBCs from 0 to 255 to find the rest of the buttons.

First ,I want to say a big thanks to you for taking your time to answer me.
Second ,I've tried every single code from your list ,and you are right ,it works but with a catch:
some activate vol + and - ,power on/off ,play ,pause ,next (on ipod) ,but nothing activate the bluetooth mode for pairing for e.g.
Maybe can you give me a link to a tutorial or you can teach me how to build dummy upgrades.
For me ,it's something new and I don't have the knowledge to do it right now.
Have a nice weekend!
Cheers

Can you download the current memory from your remote using RMIR and save the *.rmir file, then load it up into the Diagnosis Area and then post a link to the file here. If you do that, I'll create the dummy upgrades for you.

Of course ,anything you want.
I've programmed the dvd mode with one code that it works good but is incomplete.
Take your time.

Cool, I'll work on it over the weekend. I see that there are a ton of upgrades in this remote already, did it come with them pre-installed? In other words, are the official upgrades or ones that you've added?

Ok, here you go. I have created 6 dummy upgrades that cover OBCs 0-251, which means I haven't covered the last four (252-255). I'm guessing you'll have found all of the OBCs before you get there, but if there are still some functions missing, I'll create one more upgrade to cover those.
As it appears that your remote only has 3 device modes, I have created two RMIR files, each with 3 upgrades in them.
So, to do these tests, you will need to load one of the RMIR files into your remote and then test all of the buttons in all 3 device modes. I've included a spreadsheet which you can use so that when you find a button that does something, you can write down what it was. Then you can either use that info to build a proper upgrade, or load up the spreadsheet and I'll do it, if you don't know how.

All right , I'm back with a few tests.
I have uploaded to remote dummy1 ,and all the working buttons are on first mode (TV).
I've identified until now:
red button (not power button) -- on/off
green button-- vol down
0 button--- vol up
mute button --pause
6 button --- mute
info button-- rewind
7 button --- ff/next
Channel down button has some unknown effect ,like pause ,but cannot escape from it ,only power off to get working again.
I think also that one button that I've have pressed it's bass + ,but I don't know yet which exactly.
Nowhere to be found bluetooth mode ,or pairing or input change like aux ,bluetooth.
SAT and DVD mode doesn't activate any function ,all the working functions are on TV mode.
Dummy2 doesen't activate anything in any mode (TV,SAT or DVD) .
If you have another ideas I'll be gladly testing.
If not ,no problem .
Thank you again for your time!
Best Regards!

Here's what you found:
OBC function
30 power
00 vol+
31 vol-
06 mute
12 play/pause
07 skip+
28 skip-
14 unknown
Here are the remaining buttons that are missing:
pairing
iPod
aux
bass+
bass-
Are you sure that you have things connected in such a way that you would notice buttons like AUX? And do you know what to expect when buttons like PAIRING are pressed?
Given that all the buttons found so far use OBCs in the 0-31 range, it's reasonable to presume that the remaining buttons are also in that range, so I would suggest doing some more tests using TV move from the first file.

Hi there ,me again
After each button pres, I try to scan with my phone's bluetooth ,but nothing shows available ,like S130BT13E (as described in the manual link)
Another mistery is why bluetooth mode can not be enabled manually ,pressing repeatedly Power button on the unit itself.
Maybe I have a defective unit ,I don't know.
The ipod works good on dock (30pin) .
I will test again.
Thanks for your patience!
Cheers!

I might be missing something here but can you connect via blue-tooth with the buttons on the unit? From what I read in the manual you should be able to.
So maybe if you connect Bluetooth via the buttons on the unit according to the manual,
you might notice it switching inputs more easily when you try your IR codes Since it would then go off of Bluetooth.

First time I've tried to switch bluetooth on using the in info from manual :
While the unit is on, press MODE repeatedly on the unit or press iPod/ on the remote control to select Bluetooth mode. The status indicator will flash in blue.
2. Press and hold MODE on the unit for approx. 5 seconds or press and hold PAIRING on the remote control until the status indicator flash rapidly.
Never get it to work ,no matter how many times I've tried pressing the Power/Mode button.
The Blue led never flash ,so I bought an One4All remote hoping that it will be easy to activate bluetooth.
Maybe the unit is defective ,I don't know.
After a new test , I see that button Vol+ bring list of songs on Ipod display.
Prg - freeze the ipod ,and only power on/off is starting back the song.
Nothing new ,maybe it's time to give up.
Best Regards

The unit may be defective but what i would try is
Unplug main power and remove ipod from dock. and disconnect any aux device
Leave unplugged for 10 minutes or so to discharge capacitors.
Plug back in leaving ipod off dock and nothing connected to aux
Try on the unit the instructions to get to Bluetooth.
With nothing connected it should switch to Bluetooth if not i would say it is defective somehow.
