Find remote knowing some button code

Post by eduaqa »

Good Morning
I have a generic STB PVR, so don't have remote on the list
I know it exists because I had configured and working ok, but them by mistake I clicked on Reset and lost which one I was using
I put the generic one and reconfigured some keys using remote master tried 0-255 code and observing what happened
So far I have the following configured and working, but there are sill to many pending,
Question: Is there like a reverse library where steady of looking for code knowing the remote, we can look for the remote know the codes?
So far I know:

Luckily I could compare the OBCs as well. It looks like a Visiosat TVS-7500. Available here : http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=11951

How do you compare OBCs too Alan? Surely not one at a time?

I actually have a spreadsheet of all the remotes I have produced (about 1200), sorted by protocol, device number and power OBC. That narrowed it down to about 12. I then checked each one for the zero and Guide OBCs and the 4th one I checked matched all the OBCs provided :D
