Apologies if this has been answered before, but a search didn't turn anything up. I'm wondering whether there are any JP1 capable remotes on the market that could also control a Roku via RF in addition to controlling the rest of my hardware via IR.

Which Roku(s) do you have?
All of the newer Rokus can be controlled by IR including the newer sticks.

No Roku stick can accept IR commands, old or new. If you're referring to express and premiere roku that rectangle in shape they're not consider sticks. They accept hdmi cable, where a true stick has hdmi connector built-in, and NO IR sensor.

Are the wiki entries for the 3820,3821, and 3810 (Sep 2019) wrong?

My Roku Ultra 4800X (FCC: TC2-1036) does not have an RF receiver. It does have an IR receiver. You could check the devices on this list. I doubt that any would since the Ultra doesn't. If any happened to have it, it would probably need to have RF4CE protocol and then we would have to figure out how to get one of the RF4CE remotes to pair to it.

Most definitely. I no longer have 3810 stick+, but I do own both the recent released 3820 stick 4k, and the 3821 stick 4k+, neither accepts IR, only wifi-direct remotes.

Your 4800 Ultra has form of RF, its Wifi-direct, it goes through walls. So it accepts boith wifi & IR remotes at the same time.

Thanks for all of this info. I didn't realize any of them accepted RF. Of course, up to this point I've only purchased sticks, so that doesn't help me there. I will need to figure out how to handle if there aren't remotes that would work for RF.

If you don't need the very latest features the Roku Premiere has IR and is currently $20.

I use one every day. And its JP1. Nice little remote, but kind of clicky for a bedroom.

They work great on roku tv's. When programming the roku tv use section D in the pamphlet, instead of the regular code entry. The remote might have to reset to get the cec mode turned on.
